Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale
	Prices stated herein are effective March, 2001 and subject to periodic revision by Ocean Data Equipment Corporation. No order resulting from this price schedule shall be valid until accepted, in writing, by Ocean Data Equipment Corporation at Providence, Rhode Island U.S.A.. All orders are F.O.B. factory at Providence, Rhode Island. Payment shall be in U.S Dollars in compliance with agreement between buyer and Ocean Data Equipment Corp.. Any tax, duty or other charges levied by any national government and/or by any state, provincial or municipal body shall be the responsibility of the buyer. Customs brokerage fees, if Written orders are to be directed to: Ocean Data Equipment Corporation 88 Royal Little Dr. Providence, Rhode Island 02904 USA Delivery shall be quoted at the time of order receipt. Ocean Data Equipment Corporation shall not be responsible for delays beyond Ocean Data Equipment Corporation's control or for delays caused by freight carriers. Included in the pricing shown in this price schedule is the supply of commercial packaging generally suitable for UPS, air-freight or motor-freight routing.
Warranty
	Ocean Data Equipment Corp. warrants products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months after being placed into service (as evidenced by the dated, returned Warranty Registration Card); or within thirteen (13) months from the date of shipment from ODEC, whichever occurs first. This warranty shall cover parts and factory labor only. No reimbursement is made for field labor or travel. Defective parts must be returned, freight prepaid, to Ocean Data Equipment Corp.. Buyer is responsible for freight charges associated with ODEC returning the parts/equipment to Buyer;. Buyer must request and receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) from ODEC prior to shipment to ODEC. Consumable items (fuses, etc.) are specifically excluded from this warranty. Also excluded are parts which have been damaged from exposure to seawater or damaged because of improper installation. To the extent consistent with state and federal law: (1) this warranty is strictly limited to the terms indicated herein and no other warrantees or remedies shall be binding on ODEC including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. (2) ODEC shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or special (including punitive or multiple) damages. All ODEC products listed herein are merely aids to navigation. It is solely the responsibility of the user/watchstander to exercise discretion and proper, prudent navigational skills and caution independent of any ODEC products.
