- Depressing the Range key a second time calls up the Phase selection
- 0-120, 60-180, 120-140, 180-300, 240-360, 300-420, 360-480 Feet, Auto

- -Chart
- All changes are made via the Increment / Decrement keys:
- Depressing the Chart key once will display
whether the chart recorder is On/Off
- - a second time will allow you to set
the chart recorder speed to slow/fast
- - a third time will allow you to set the
chart lamp Off/Hi/Lo
- - a fourth time will allow you to set
the contrast of the chart recorder to Lo/Med/Hi
- - a fifth time will allow you to reset the
paper guage (% of paper remaining) after installing a new chart roll.

- -Depth Alarms
- Both Shallow and Deep depth limits can be set. Upon either condition, the audible
alarm will sound and ALM S or ALM D will be shown on the LCD
- Depressing the Alarm key once will display the Alarm status Off/On,
depress again to enable (if Off).
- Depress again to set the shallow limit, and again to set the deep limit. Use <
| > to step thru the values.
- Depress Enter to accept the changes.

- Once depressed, the user may change the sound velocity using the
Increment/Decrement keys this value may be adjusted from:
- 4600 - 5250 feet/second (1393 - 1590 meters/second)
- Once the desired value is displayed, depress the Enter key to return to
previously viewed display.

- -Offset
- this function allows the user to compensate for vessel draft, tide, etc. or for
difference in transducer depth and a historical waterline reference.
- A value from 0 to +30 in tenths of feet may be entered via the < | > keys ,
press Enter to accept the changes.

- -COM / Frequency
Selection
- During Power Up, the current frequency will be displayed, to CHANGE the
frequency press COM , select the NEW
frequency using the < | > keys. Press ENTER
to accept the changes.

Depressing the Mark key causes a vertical fix
(event) line to be printed across the chart; holding down this key (for 3 seconds or
greater) will result in the printing of depth, position and other important parameters
along this vertical line.
Depth records can be date/time tagged
externally or by using the manual input via the keypad.
Depressing this key toggles the chart
presentation, digital display and data output between feet and meters.
The user controls receiver gain manually, or
selects automatic receiver gain control in 6db increments
Depressing the Gain key a second time brings up the
time-varied gain selection TVG to be displayed, when the user has
finished making changes, depressing the Enter key implements the changes and returns to the previous screen
Compensation for the effects of tide and draft
are included for depth measurement to surface. This adjustment is applied to processed
output data.
User powers the unit ON/OFF by, depressing the
Power & Enter keys simultaneously
Enter key is also used to accept the
parameter changes made in the various sub-menus.
Depressing the Gate key once allows the user to view whether the Gate function is OFF,AUTO, or in
Manual mode
Used to select frequency, also increment and
decrement through the various menu parameters.
